Some things to write home about...
It is still really beautiful here. In fact, it's been consistently 80 degrees since my last post. I think YOU should come visit. The time spent sitting in the sun is reason enough. So what have I been doing with all this nice weather? Feeling sick, running out to play at the first sign of recovery, and then after a fun day coming home to feel sick again. I still have tummy rumbles and intermittent headaches, but I haven't had a fever since it first hit, so I'm not too worried. My productivity at school has taken a dive though. Now that "spring break" is over and tests are on the horizon maybe I'll get back to it.
We hosted one of Sarah's college friends this weekend and I had way too much fun doing so (see above). We took her to Stone Mountain, the confederate version of Mt. Rushmore, for a laser show... which was... interesting. But the picnic the 9 of us packed was out of this world, so I have no complaints. In fact, I think I would go again for giggles.
After the show we got all dressed up for a prom party but then left 10 minutes after arriving because we were all so tired from the night before. That night started off innocently enough at the Sweetwater brewery tour... but we all know how that ends. (6 am dance party at my place.
What, that wasn't obvious?)
What, that wasn't obvious?) Tonight I get to see Lewis Black perform on campus, I'm pretty stoked about that. This weekend my house is having a crawfish boil, and I'm Really stoked about that. Jay ordered 90 lbs of crawfish for the 30 invitees. I can see only good things coming from this.
I have to go to class.
