Welcome to my webpage.  I am a third-year PhD student in the GRITS Lab at GA Tech.  My adviser, Dr. Magnus Egerstedt, and I are studying human behavior using tools from electrical engineering.  In particular, we are interested in the phenomenon of dance and aesthetic movement and in what defines this behavior.  There is a large body of qualitative description explaining what differentiates genres of dance and even specific choreographers’ styles within a single genre; by developing quantitative metrics to supplement this body of work, our research will aid in the analysis of art.  Furthermore, we aim to design a framework that is accessible to robotic applications.
