SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS

• Theory of nonequilibrium stochastic processes: generalized Langevin equations, extended Zwanzig-type Hamiltonians. Applications to chemical problems: investigation of particle dynamics in colloidal suspensions under nonequilibrium conditions; polymerization in a changing environment. Energy balance in nonequilibrium systems: generalized fluctuation-dissipation relations, Jarzynski's equality, entropy growth.
• Theory of diffusion-controlled chemical reactions in liquid solutions. Many-body and memory effects on reversible diffusion-influenced reactions. Brownian dynamics simulations of reversible reactions in ground and excited states.
• Spin Chemistry. Theoretical investigation of magnetic field and spin effects in photochemical reactions and radiation chemistry. Methods of analytical solution of the stochastic Liouville equation describing simultaneously motion of reagents, evolution of their electron and nuclear spins and their recombination.

EXPERIENCE IN SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION AND COMPUTER OPERATION

• Managing Linux/Unix networks; administering computer clusters with LSF and PBS queuing systems.
• Programming in C++ and FORTRAN on computer clusters; using mathematical packages (Mathematica, MatLab and others) in UNIX and Win environments; implementation of numerical algorithms.
• Performing molecular dynamics simulations using self-developed and academic applications (such as NAMD and DLPoly).
