The 2006 Product Re-X Conference will be held at the Georgia Tech College of Management's Huang Executive Education Center, Rooms 316 and 317.

Both the college and the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center are located in Technology Square in the revitalized midtown Atlanta neighborhood. This vibrant, live-work-play environment has been transformed by the newly-renovated Biltmore and Sixth District Federal Reserve Bank, which complement nearby Atlanta landmarks like the Fabulous Fox Theatre and the corporate headquarters of Coca-Cola, BellSouth and Bank of America. Residential developments, restaurants and retail make the area a distinct community. Technology Square serves as the area's high-tech core while establishing a primary artery between the Georgia Tech campus and midtown across an enhanced 5th Street bridge.

The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is located across the street from the College of Management and offers deluxe guest rooms for attendees at special negotiated rates. Single and double room rates for attendees are $135 + applicable taxes per night. The Georgia Tech room rate is available for June 20 and 21, 2006.

A block of rooms has been reserved at Wyndham Midtown Atlanta at a rate of $115.00 + applicable taxes per night. MSOM attendees can simply extend their stay. From this convenient location, you can walk throughout the Midtown business district and to a host of great Atlanta attractions and area restaurants, including the recently expanded High Museum of Art, Margaret Mitchell House and Gone with the Wind Museum, plus 160-acre Piedmont Park. The Midtown MARTA Station is just a block from the hotel for direct rail access to Atlanta Airport, and the downtown convention center district. Tech square is a 10-minute walk, or accessible by the Tech Trolley from the MARTA station or the hotel's courtesy shuttle.

If Downtown is your destination, the Georgia World Congress Center, Phillips Arena, Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park is only moments away. If Midtown is where you need to be, the High Museum, Fox Theatre, Atlantic Station and GA Tech University is right next door. MSOM attendees only can benefit from the MSOM rate of $84 on 6/20 (but not on 6/21).

Directions

Getting around the city of Atlanta is also made easy by the Center's proximity to the North Avenue and Midtown MARTA transit stations, which provide a comfortable and efficient gateway to Buckhead, the downtown business district and Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport .

  • Take the North-South train line to the North Avenue Station (N3)
  • Exit onto West Peachtree Street
  • Follow West Peachtree Street North to Fifth Street (approximately a five-minute walk)
  • The College is located on the left side of the street, at the corner of West Peachtree Street and Fifth Street

Traveling North on Interstate 75 (I-75) and Interstate 85 (I-85)
  • Follow either I-75 or I-85 North to Exit 250 (Georgia Tech/10th Street/14th Street)
  • At the top of the ramp, turn right onto 10th Street
  • At the first traffic light, turn right onto Spring Street
  • Follow Spring Street across Fifth Street
  • The Technology Square parking garage is on the right at 770 Spring Street, just past Fifth Street
  • The College is located across Spring Street, in the building with the Barnes & Noble bookstore

Traveling South on Interstate 75 (I-75)
  • Follow I-75 South to Exit 250 (16th Street/14th Street/10th Street)
