• MacRAE's Blue Book http://www.macraesbluebook.com/  is an industrial directory sourcing tool for North American industrial products. Search by company or product. American industrial directory since 1893.
• Reference USA.  Reference USA is one of the Library's company directories.  Company directory of over 13 million U.S. businesses. Create customized lists ("Data Summary") by combining geographical, size of business and line of business variables ("Custom Search"). Geographical search options are: zip code, MSA, county, city, state and area code. Size of business search options are: sales volume and number of employees. Line of business search options are: yellow page heading and SIC code. Can also search directly by company name or ticker symbol. Each record also contains contact name(s).

• Wilson Business Abstracts. 1986+ Abstracts to articles in 350 English-language business magazines.  Excellent general business index.  Galileo FirstSearch.
• ABI/Inform Complete  indexes U.S. and international journals covering all aspect of business and management. Covers 1971+ and full text from 1991+ (about half full text). • LexisNexis Academic. Newspapers, legal news, general interest magazines, trade publications, company financial information, transcripts, wire service reports, government publications, law reviews.
• Mergent Online. Company Data Direct, which offers Internet access to information on more than 15,000 U.S. public companies (active and inactive) listed on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ exchanges (including EDGAR® (SEC) filings back to 1993).
• Business Source Premier EBSCOhost 1984+ Provides company profiles, country reports, industry profiles, and abstracts and indexing.  Business Search Premier search hints.
• Business and Industry. 1994+ Contains important facts and key events dealing with public and private companies, industries, products and  markets for all manufacturing and service industries at an international level. • ABI/Inform Complete  (1971-) ABI/Inform provides full text for over 1,461 U.S. and international journals covering all aspect of business and management. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for 759 journals.

• Can limit results to scholarly journals, including peer-reviewed
• Use "quotation marks" to search for exact phrases. Two word queries (such as circus elephant) are searched as an exact phrase by default.
• The asterisk symbol * is used as a right-handed truncation character only; it will find all forms of a word
• AND NOT Find articles which have the first word, but not the second word
• WITHIN Find articles where the first word appears some number of words before or after the second word. Example: computer W/3 careers
• PRE. Find these words within n words in a field. Example: world pre/3 web
• Mark records, then download or email

• Business Source Premier(1984-) Business Source Premier, one of the separately searchable database sub-sets of EBSCOhost, provides company profiles, country reports, industry profiles, and abstracts and indexing for over 2,440, as well as full text for over 2,260 business magazines.
• Can limit to Peer reviewed scholarly publications
• Truncation is represented by an asterisk (*)
• Can restrict by date and restrict to field codes. Examples: SU Sports Injuries, AU, TI
