one inspired friday afternoon in fall 2003, adam and eoin wandered into the second floor of the student center. across from the chess table sat a lonely slab of hard plastic sitting on top of steel legs. it was an empty table and it was beautiful; it offered opportunity. adam and eoin pulled up a couple of chairs, each made a crude name plate, and then waited confidently with hands together, very proper. people stopped to ask where the bathroom was located, what we were doing, and other interesting questions. adam and eoin were given an "authority" just by sitting behind a table. it was magic and it wouldn't stop there.

after discovering their love for manning tables, Adam and Eoin formed badical industries in an effort to systematically make memories for and enrich the lives of Georgia Tech students. with the table as their medium, adam and eoin found that they had the power to make requests of passers-by, such as stopping to take a picture. although "take a picture with Adam and Eoin" project was ingenious and stunningly popular, Adam and Eoin decided they needed to improve their product mix.

In the spring of 2004, badical industries took time away from the limelight to retool its operations, inventing new ways to make differences in students' lives. during this time, badical industries acquired a new, young talent in Kevin hicks. although the troupe was not out on the frontlines, they were still working in the background; eoin and kevin took it upon themselves to make Georgia Tech's campus aware of jeff goldblum is watching you poop.

At the end of Spring 2004, adam decided that he no longer wanted to attend Georgia Tech. although he still has the fire of badical industries in his heart, he is unable to devote time to the ongoing effort.

badical industries surged back onto skiles walkway in fall 2004. their first event, improvisational rain protection, was inspired by the hurricane that struck atlanta the day before. during this event, daniel might, a young prospect with computer virtuosity and friend of eoin's, was drawn to badical industries by the vigor and enthusiasm we exude. he joined the unit locking in the final piece of the puzzle that is "the triad."

the triad's talents combine to produce a devastating force. kevin is the creative brain who initiates many of the ideas for events and who's writing style has graced many of the fall 2004 flyers. he's just a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and a trophy in his back-pocket. daniel is the operations specialist who keeps the cogs of the event-machine well-oiled and lubed; he maintains the table. as previously mentioned, daniel is also quite a computer whiz; he created the flash intro to the previous badical industries site. eoin, as the godfather of badical industries, is the heart of the group. he is the binding force much like a devoted mother. eoin is the webmaster, keeper of the jambox, and prime "fisher" on event days. if badical industries was the teenage mutant ninja turtles, eoin would be leonardo, daniel would be donatello, and kevin would be a mix of michaelangelo and raphael, part "party dude," part "cool but rude."

badical industries made a strong impression during the 2004-2005 school year. the majority of the student population got involved in a movement to replace sga with badical industries. it was a nice gesture, but it was not to be. eoin and daniel graduated may 2005. what was to happen next year?

kevin, evan moon, and randy heaton organized to continue the tradition. they are making major waves and turning female heads.

... this last piece failed. now badical industries is no longer concerned with georgia tech. it's only current focus is on making short movies. these can be seen in the media section.
