Who?

The name's Makario. I'm an eighteen-year-old that just started college. I have a creative wild imagination. I'm geeky, but in the cool way. I like to read. I like to write. I like photography. I play the piano. I drink hot chocolate in the summer. I've been run over by a car. My favorite band is mewithoutYou. I'm an open source enthusiast. I use Ubuntu. I've never seen Star Wars.

What?

I design and build websites. And I'm quite good at it. I know how to use XHTML and CSS efficiently, and adhere to modern universal web standards. (That just means that my sites not only look nice, but they're well-structured.) I can do almost anything, from setting up your blog to creating your church website to building your social network.

Where?

I'm currently a freshman at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. I love it here—the campus is nice, I've developed a nice network of friends, (most of) the courses I'm taking are pretty intriguing, and the food's not too shabby. I'm here earning a degree in computational media (which is a mashup of computer science, art, and communication.) And so far it's been a blast.

I make websites look pretty.

Okay, you got me: This isn't my actual website; it just serves as a landing page for my Georgia Tech prism account. This simple website is actually a homework assignment for my computer science class. But that doesn't mean it can't be an awesome design. If you like what you see here, and are thinking, "Hey, this guy's pretty good...I wonder if he could design a website for me," then do yourself a favor and shoot me an email. My prices are reasonable.
