Ultimate Frisbee

I love ultimate, so I made this page. Life is simple.

You don't have to be an incredible athlete to play ultimate. You don't have to be a big, overly aggressive testosterone toting lug to play ultimate. (Actually, it's preferable that you're not.) Instead, ultimate frisbee is a sport for the average person. All you need is a positive energy, and a desire to be happy and enjoy yourself.

All CC - IM B-League Champs Fall 2004

In 2003, we played in A-League. We made it to the School semifinals but lost to the eventual champs. Our excuse? We played short handed 7 vs 5 for most of the game and then 7 vs 6. Could we have won it all? Yes. Did we? No. Oh well.

Ultimate in the Atlanta Area:
I haven't been here long, but here's what I've found so far.

  • GT Intramurals - Yes, they have IM frisbee! (IM Ultimate only lasts the first half of fall semester.)
  • Tribe & Atari - Georgia Tech Ultimate
  • AFDC - Atlanta Flying Disc Club

    And oh yeah, we defended our title the next year with a somewhat different cast. (March 23-24, 2002)

    Ultimate in the Auburn, AL Area:
    If you are interested in playing ultimate in the Auburn, Alabama area, there are several pick-up games that are played weekly around town. Usually these games are only played during the Fall, Winter, and Spring when Auburn University is in session. The club team generally plays year round. If not sure, you may want to contact me - I might know. However, since I'm in Atlanta now, I will probably refer you to another contact.

  • Duck Samford fields - Tues. & Thurs. 6:00pm (Auburn Ultimate Frisbee Club)
  • AHS (front or track area) or AU Intramural fields - Sunday 2pm (open pick-up)
  • Behind Lakeview Church - Tues. & Thurs. 10pm (BCM)
  • Duck Samford fields - Friday around 2 or 3pm (RUF)
    		•  War Eagle! Frisbee Rocks!
