I began my M.S. in ECE in August of 2011 and joined the Ph.D program in August of 2013. My interests lie in applying signal processing and pattern recognition principles to the field of wearable and assistive computing.

The focus of my research is on the emerging field of animal-computer interaction as it pertains to facilitating communication between working dogs and the humans they assist (FIDO).
