About Me

I am a Bioinformatics graduate student from The Georgia Institute of Technolgy, working at the Dr. King Jordan's lab. I am from Colombia, South America, where I studied computer science and software development and felt attracted to topics related to molecular biology and computational challenges derived from this field. I am very interested in the use of machine learning techniques and network theory for the analysis of extensive data from next-generation sequencing technologies. I am also passionate about music and enjoy playing string instruments.
