Notes
Owned 8 slaves - 5300 acres of land, distributed among his heirs. Occupied a hewed log house consisting of 5 rooms and a hall. Worked consisted of clearing land, building fences, home building. Had 13 children, one slave helped wife, others worked outside. Changed his name from Bean to Beene about 1818.
