Notes

In 1798 Jane Bean, Rosemond Robertson (who married Russell Bean) and Jemima Scroggins were involved in some sort of trouble and indicted. The warrent for there arrest was returned unserved, marked "Will not be taken, kept off by force and arms" (In the sweet By and By : White)

Killed by Indians while working her loom outside the walls of Bean's Station.
