Audi U.S. Offerings
It looks like the European market gets all the fun things. At present the
U.S. Market will be lacking the A8 and the S6. Audi claims that the A8
will be sold in the U.S., but don't expect to see it until Sept. of 1996.
Audi does plan to offer a FWD A8 with a smaller 3.7L V-8 that produces
230BHP. I have heard no word on when this will be sold and if it will reach
the U.S..
There is no word on the S6, which is the S4 replacement. The U.S. market
does not get the engine choices available in the European market.

Both driver side and passenger side airbags are standard equipment. ABS is
also standard equipment on all cars.
