Esther Kim is currently a first year at Georgia Institute of Technology. She is interested in science and math. Her concentration is in the Biology field with pre-med. Her dream is to become a doctor. She has not made a decision as to which field of medicine she wants to work on.
Kim was born in New York. She lived there about 5 years, went back to Korea and lived there for 7 years, then moving to live in Florida for 6 years. Right now, she resides in Georgia since fall of 2007 while studying at Georgia Tech. She has learned two languages and is currently a bilingual. While she was living in Korea, she took special English classes to keep up with English as well as piano and art classes. Classical music inspired her life; she volunteered to play piano at the local church a few times and went to art contests, winning some awards.
Kim is looking forward to help with a lot of volunteer organizations and get involved with church groups. She likes to study Bible and help the people around her. Kim has volunteered in school related community service works in Key Club and the public library in Florida. She is hoping to become a doctor so she can help with mission trips in many places in Africa. While she is helping, she also hopes that she will learn and understand God’s words so that she can tell many people about God.
