Blowing my cash on travel
Welcome back everyone. I hope that everyone else’s summer was as crazy as mine was. I just got back on Sunday from my little stint in Europe and I just escaped by the skin of my teeth. I have about five dollars and I don’t work until tonight so I am a bit strapped for everything. Though I have been a student for a while and so I know how to bum around for a little bit. All of my money went out the window when I got in to those pubs over there. If you have never been in a European dance club or a pub late at night, then you really need to experience something like this. Maybe they all are not like this, but the ones that I was attracted to seemed to all be the center of just amazing energy. When I made it to Amsterdam it was basically all over for my savings. Tell me you wouldn’t have done the same thing with a straight face. Anyway, it was a great trip and I do recommend just going over there at least once in your life and just moving without any sort of set plan. It is just so freeing to have nowhere to be but nowhere to really go.
One of the things that I am waiting for now after getting back and getting in to school is the weight of my trip to catch up with me. I did way too much smoking and drinking while was over there and I sort of feel a little bit out of my element right now. There are probably plenty of toxins in my body ready to come out, but I have yet to get on top of that. I think that I am going to start exercising and trying to lose weight because I think that if I want to keep up my habit I have to take some personal health precautions as well. I think that if I exercise, take my vitamins, and start eating right, I will probably start to feel better. Right now I feel like I am on the verge of some kind of a cold but it never comes. It’s strange I know, but I am a superhero after all.
I’ll see you all out there on campus this week. Have fun and try not to fall asleep because they hate it when you do that the first week.
