CREATIVE MARKETING
I never really thought about a career in marketing but I have always been really into advertising, so when my mom suggested that I go to school for marketing, I figured why not, so I went away to school. Actually, marketing is definitely the right thing for me and I absolutely love it. For my most recent assignment I had to do research on logo items. Well, honestly I wasnt sure where to begin. I started by looking online, which honestly is where I look up everything, so why not logo items? right?
Anyway, the information that I found about logo items and promotional items really surprised me. There were some really thoughtful and creative things that they offered online as promotional items and so I really was quite amazed. I mean when you think of promotional items and logo items well of course you think of pens and mugs, key chains and umbrellas, but I dont think that you could name half the stuff that was on this site. It was chocked full of different promotional items and logo items, and some of them were really neat, not only in concept but they were very creative.
Some of the promotional items that I saw were T-Shirts and side line blankets, which you could get to say anything you want. Around here foot ball is really big so businesses around here could definitely buy up some of these logo items for their clients and customers, after all, who doesn?t want a good side line blanket. Anyway, there all kinds of great logo items like sports bottles and sports bags, calculators and even Frisbees.
I wanted to learn a little bit more about the promotional items business so I decided to give them a call and told them that I am considering purchasing some logo products for my business. (This was not totally a lie, because I am sure that when I have my own business I will need to buy some great promotional items, but not really today.)
I was actually really surprised at how helpful they were. The offered me all kinds of promotional products that were in my price range and they even told me that they could help me design them. Over all I was very impressed. I actually only called one of the companies I found online that sold promotional items, but there were many companies both locally and internationally that sold these items, some called them logo items. There were really quite a lot of options of places to purchase great promotional items from, and the cost was so reasonable, I really couldn?t see why everyone wasnt buying up these great items.
