Wristbands—Its Made of Paper Also
If you're planning an event where you want to make sure that you can easily identify the people who have registered to be there, think about getting wristbands that your participants can recycle after the event is over. A wristband is a secure way to identify the participants, and its made of paper also, which in turn, can be recycled when the event is over. You can have recycling containers at the exit doors, and the attendees can just drop the wristbands into the box when it's all over.
The paper wristbands are the cheapest way to use wristbands. In fact, the event organizers could even make their own by getting some 24 pound paper and using pens to write the names of the participants on the wristbands. Since its made of paper also, it will be easy to print on them, and they can be fastened simply by using a spot of glue or tape. Most paper recyclers tolerate scotch tape on the paper they accept.
These wristbands could be made from colorful paper, too, depending on the event for which they are being used. They should probably be used strictly for indoor events in case of foggy or drizzly weather, which would cause the paper to weaken or the ink to run. Since its made of paper also, it will have a tendency to tear, so short events would be better venues for paper wristbands. Almost no one is allergic to paper, so there should be no issues there, compared to the infrequent silicone wristband allergies that people have. Some people are allergic to vinyl wristbands, too, so paper is a good choice for indoor, short events where identification is required for participation.
