A photographer centered on nature photography, Jacob Thompson spends his spare time finding scenes in the North Georgia Mountains. He currently uses a Canon Digital Rebel XTi, with a standard 18-55 mm lens and a 70-300 mm lens.

Jacob currently studies Biomedical Engineering as an undergraduate at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a member of the Georgia Tech Marching Band and the Georgia Tech Wind Ensemble, playing Tuba.
