Jacob is interested in musical performance and good musicianship. He played an active role throughout high school in his band program, participating in district and allstate band, residing as symphonic band tuba section leader, playing tenor saxophone in jazz band, and leading the marching band as drum major. He currently participates in the Georgia Tech Marching Band, and performs in the Georgia Tech Wind Ensemble, playing tuba. Jacob also accompanies the piano with his saxophone during Sunday worship at Covenant Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia.
